Social Code have spent several years honing their skills as a live band in bars and venues across Alberta. Time has paid off for these Edmonton natives, who are now signed directly to Interscope Records in Los Angeles. The band will hit the road in May for a cross-Canada tour to start spreading the word on their new album, "Year At The Movies." Tour marketing will include advertising in street papers and internet promotions, which will be giving away a custom "Social Code" snowboard. Tour dates with Bif Naked begin May 6 and go right across the country, stopping in primary and secondary markets. "A Year At The Movies" is sure to appeal to teens across Canada. Fans of Blink 182, New Found Glory, and Simple Plan will be drawn to Social Code. The Album contains a great cover of the Icicle Works' song, "Whisper To A Scream", which is destined for hit status at Modern Rock radio later this year! The first single, 'Beautiful', will be added to the playlist at West49.com and a live performance video will be made available to national music media outlets as well as lifestyle clothing and sports stores.
